Privacy Notice
Last updated: October 1, 2026
This Privacy Notice describes how information is processed when you visit matkowsky.com, use its public AI interface, or communicate with Jonathan Matkowsky, including the types of information processed, the purposes for which it is used, how long it is retained, and the choices available to you. Jonathan Matkowsky operates this site and determines the purposes and means of the site's first-party processing.
1. Information you provide
The public AI interface is not a confidential communication channel. Do not submit personal data, confidential or privileged communications, credentials, financial or health information, proprietary information, strategy, evidence, or case documents through it. For a potential matter, contact Jonathan outside the public AI interface and limit the initial communication to information reasonably necessary for conflicts and intake.
2. Information processed automatically
The site and its service providers process limited technical information associated with requests, such as IP address, browser or device information, timestamps, request metadata, and security events, as reasonably necessary to deliver and protect the service, troubleshoot problems, enforce usage limits, and prevent abuse.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
For simplicity, this Notice uses “technologies” to include cookies, local browser storage, and similar mechanisms. Strictly Necessary Technologies support operation and security of the site and AI interface, including session state, privacy preferences, usage controls, and abuse prevention. They cannot be disabled through the site's Tracking Choices control.
Performance Technologies help Jonathan understand visits and interactions with the site and AI interface and improve the service. When enabled, they may record a randomly generated browser identifier, visit and session events, suggested-question selections, interaction counts, engagement duration, and defined contact or conversion events. The Performance dataset does not record free-form AI questions or AI responses, IP addresses, email addresses, machine identifiers, or browser fingerprints. Jonathan does not combine the Performance identifier with security or contact information for the purpose of identifying individual visitors and does not use these technologies for advertising or marketing tracking.
Depending on applicable requirements and the visitor's location, Performance Technologies may require affirmative permission or may be enabled subject to the visitor's ability to disable them. The Tracking Choices control displays and applies the setting available to that browser. Turning off Performance Technologies stops future first-party Performance collection and removes the site's Performance identifier from that browser. It may limit features that depend on recognizing visits or interactions over time.
4. How information is used
Information is used to provide and secure the site and AI interface, generate AI responses, respond to communications, enforce usage controls, troubleshoot technical problems, understand site and AI-interface usage, improve the service, prevent abuse, and comply with applicable legal obligations. The site does not sell personal data or use first-party Performance data to build advertising profiles.
5. Service providers
Jonathan uses service providers to operate the site and communications. They may process information as necessary to provide their services and subject to their applicable agreements, privacy practices, and legal obligations.
OpenAI — AI processing
Information submitted through the AI interface is transmitted to OpenAI's API to generate responses. OpenAI states that API inputs and outputs are not used to train its models by default unless the customer affirmatively opts in. OpenAI may retain or process API data for service operation, safety, abuse monitoring, and other purposes permitted under the applicable OpenAI terms and data controls.

GoDaddy — hosting and infrastructure
GoDaddy provides hosting and related infrastructure and security services and may process technical, operational, network, security, and service data as necessary to provide and protect those services.
Microsoft Corporation — email
Email sent to or from [email protected] is processed using Microsoft email services. Microsoft may process message content and associated technical or account information under its applicable terms and privacy practices.
6. Retention
The site does not maintain a permanent first-party archive of public AI conversations. First-party Performance event data is retained at event level for up to 90 days and may thereafter be deleted or retained only in aggregated or de-identified form. Privacy preferences and a Performance identifier, when enabled, may remain in the browser until changed or cleared. Service providers may retain information under their own applicable terms, policies, security practices, and legal obligations.
7. Location of processing
Jonathan operates this site from the United States. Information processed through the site may be processed or stored in the United States by Jonathan and the service providers identified above, subject to applicable law and their respective safeguards and legal obligations.
8. Security
Jonathan maintains technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information processed through the site against unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. These safeguards are intended to address the nature of the information and the risks associated with its processing, but no internet service or security measure can guarantee absolute security.
9. Your choices and privacy requests
You may review or change the site's Performance setting through Tracking Choices in the footer. If you have a privacy question or want to make a request concerning personal data that you believe Jonathan controls, email [email protected]. Rights and choices may vary depending on applicable law and the circumstances of the processing.
10. Third-party links
The site may link to third-party websites and resources. Their privacy practices apply when you follow those links; Jonathan does not control their data-handling practices.
11. Changes to this Notice
This Notice may be updated from time to time as the site's practices, service providers, or legal requirements change. If a change is material, notice will be provided through the site or by other appropriate means. The current version and last-updated date will be posted here.
